Hi everyone.
I have a Sony Ericsson P1i phone and I have the GPS receiver dongle coming for it shortly so I can use GPS on it.

I am told that the Tomtom 6 disc has the Australian maps on it for the UIQ 3 Symbian operating system that my phone uses.

I'm wondering if anyone has a copy I could try?
Long shot I know but never hurts to ask.

Cheers.
Marc
I have TomTom 7 for Windows Mobile phones .... not sure if it's any use to you or not ?

Is it just for Windows?
The discs should contain the files for various OS's and the one you need is chosen when installing.

Apparently a package called Co-pilot works well on many PDA's as well. Could be open to that too...

I use Garmin mobile XT on my phone (Nokia N82) primarily because it allows internal GPS usage, without having to hack it and re-select each time you start the app(As with Tom Tom).

Apparently, at least version 4.10.60 is UIQ compatible, so that might be an option. Version 5.00.00 has just been released this week, and it is much better. I would assume it should be available for UIQ OS phones.

Maps are pretty easy to come by for GMXT also.

Nice nice, i have an N82 aswell (in black tongue.gif ). My Nokia Maps seems to work fine and includes voice direction. But im sure a 3rd party app would work a little smoother.

Alex, you might need to send me this stuff for the N82, especially if it doesnt require any hacks or whatever, and it works. biggrin.gif Thatd be mad. tongue.gif
