i must admit, out of the 2 teams that were playing, i did want the HAWKS to win, GOOD ON THEM FOR PRODUCING AN AWESOME GAME TO WATCH

just off topic...does anyone know wat time the NRL final kicks off...i heard 5pm...but im in brisbane and i think its daylight savings time in sydney soon? so is that 5pm there and 4pm in brisbane....i need to know coz i gotta tell work to f*ck off lol

Uggh, never understood what people's infactuation with AFL is. I had to waste my Saturday standing around a pub being sober watching a bunch of drunk idiots shout and cheer at a TV for hours. All because I was the designated driver.

For the record, I dont even support an AFL team but went out of my way to watch the game. Had a few beers and got my designated driver to drive me back to the campsite.

I HOPE U DIDNT WATCH THE NRL GAME! Lets just say, i was ashamed for a split second to support melbourne storm!But the better team won on the day, i hate manly but they easily deserved it!

I think there was actually a thread started about it on the weekend, i think i actually posted in it (I'd had a few drinks so i could have imagined the whole thing). but come monday morning it was gone.

nrl final was like watching cats/port game last year...just one of thos freak games where one team is completely switched on and the other has absolutely nothing go their way

I usually like footy, but this season i just couldnt stand watching a bunch of men touch and get rowdy with each other. Short shorts on men just dont do it for me.

Maybe next season.
