Hi everyone,
I require some help to complete a project, I need Phillips Carin GPS Disks for East coast of Australia for testing-evaluation. I have disk 2 of 2 the WA and SA disk which I think is the 2000 version. Most probably I will require a full set of maps as I am not sure if different versions are compatible with my existing disk.
I have just completed an installation and conversion in a Soarer Limited V8 using the existing factory fitted NTSC colour screen. The system seems to be up and running, I am using the WA SA disk I have but I am unable to test the installation properly as I live in Emerald Vic.
A set of older disks would be fine, as in other discussions on this site I cannot see the value in purchasing a new set even if I get it running the costs are way to expensive for an old unit.
I can be contacted on 0359686595 or at rowfam@people.net.au
