I have a true story about my morning.
I was in my room on my computer when I hear my car alarm go off, so I ran downstairs to see what it was. After checking out the car I saw that everything was ok I went back inside and thought it was a false alarm.

15 minutes later I hear a bang and my alarm go off again, so I ran out there and saw the top of some c***'s head inside my car, I started sprinting.

By the time he saw me I was a meter away and so he was still hanging out of my passenger side door, so I shoulder slammed the door on him and was like "What the f*** are you doing in my car!!" this guy turned out to be a lot bigger than I thought...
Luckily for me he shat his pants too, but then he pulled a knife and said "I'll f***ing stab you!".
So he ended up running off into the bush while I locked my car and went inside and called the cops.

When the cops arrived we had a proper look at what he had done, he had tried to push a screwdriver behind my window seal, and evertually broken off the lock on the outside of the door. He had also managed to break of the front of my dash so he could get to my nice Alpine head unit. Again luckily for me, my h/u screws in instead of having the slidy things so the druggy couldn't get it out anyway.

I'm just happy he didn't steal the amp that I installed myself yesterday...


Anyway, that's my interesting start to the day.

Hehe it's now locked up in the garage where my Dad's car will be when he gets home.

man that sucks, atleast he didnt get away with anything, but still the damage to the car is a PITA! (i used to be a locksmith and saw cars with screwed doors all the time from people breaking in like that)

one of my old tradeschool teachers was telling me he was at a shopping center one day and he has walked out to find some guy trying to get into his car

he just casually walked up to the guy and said "you locked yourself out? you wanna hand?"

the guy didnt know what to do so he said yes, my teacher went up to him, stood beside the guy and started pointing things out how to get in, then grabed him by the back of the head and put it though the side window!
so awesome!

Man that sucks! That motherf%$ker prob will be back later on, if he came back 15min after an alarm went off he must have an IQ somewhere around his shoe size.

You better hope he doesn't think he has a bone to pick with you, fucl< I hate knives.

pfft just clutch onto a bigger knive or a nice big steel pole and hey if use have a gun floating around go outside yelling for him and acting like a maniac

Haha I live in Greenwood so I probably shouldn't be leaving my car across the road anyway lol.
My gear is alright, but he ripped the dash off, so now the nuts and stuff that held it on are attached to the dash not the car, so that won't go back on for a while. I also can't do anything with the car because forensics will be around sometime so I'm not supposed to touch anything.

Fudd: That is the coolest story, cut I didn't think of doing that, probably be a bit hard if he saw me coming out of the house he was across from...

He was actually trying to take stuff with the alarm still going, so yep, he's probably retarded. I don't mind if he has a bone to pick, as long as he doesn't have many friends. I can handle knives, I have trained with them for over 6 years, but I am not about to put myself into a situation where I need to use that training for no good reason, that's why I didn't confront him after he was out of the car.

I hope the shoulder charge on the door hurt him :|

Sorry your car is damaged by that idiot - it's happened to me lots of times...
One of my friends had his car parked out on the street a couple of years ago and he was outside having a cigarette about 2am (by chance!) when about 3 guys came in a beat up commodore. They started breaking in oblivious to him in the darkness until he yelled out - WTF do you think you're doing?! They were all reasonably young about 25 or so and promptly jumped back in the car and took off - but it was a long court!

So by that stage he'd gone inside to get something to hurt them with and got into his 4wd as he heard them go past his house again - chased them through the backstreets (they seemed pretty lost apparently) going over roundabouts and speed humps.

Then they had to stop on the main road because there were too many cars to keep going and my freind got out and smashed the side window in with his stick making a bit of a mess of the guy sitting there, but then they took off when the road was clear enough...

He went home and his wife wanted him to call the police etc but he declined and went to bed - then the same scum came back in a different car about 4am! He turned on the outside lights but they took off again...

Bloody desperate some of these idiots!

About 4 months ago, while we were having a family bbq and everyone sitting in the backyard, I went inside the house into the study room to fetch somethng and when I looked up I saw a guy unplugging the PC, by the time I realised it wasn't anyone I knew I said WTF, he jumped up and ran straight through the other door that I wasn't standing in front off, which led to the backyard, while I was running through the corridor I noticed the glass around the front door was broken and he must've picked his hand through to get in. about 10 of us chased this guy to the end of the street until we cought up with him and belted the cr@p out of him. The guy looked in his mid 20's and started crying and begging to let him go, after about 3 minutes of all of us having a shot at kicking him, we let go off him but told him that if we ever see him around the block we'll break both of his legs. As he began to slowly walk off we hear footsteps running so we turn around and t'was my dad in his shower robes and thongs approaching and went straight for the kick up the guys ass, the guy ran off and my dad was still running after him to have a shot at kicking his ass.
I sorta felt sorry for this guy but he asked for it. about $200 worth of damages to the front door. Anyway never seen the guy since.

Man I wish those options were possible in my situation, unfortunately for me, there aren't houses on both sides of my street so he just ran into the bushes, otherwise, he probably would have ended up with a car up his ass lol.

Just a question my whole system so far i have spent $1100 and i am only 16 believe it or not anyone my car is really old it is a 1982 and i want to get $300 Rockford Fosgate Splits do you think i should pay $249 to get a alarm installed ?

Defenetly get a decent alarm.
