Hi Everyone,

I have an Alpine 7894RB headunit, it has 4volt pre-outs.
I am wanting to use an Earthquake amp which i got in 1998 (75W RMS x2) which has line input sensitivity between 0.2v and 2v to run my Focal 16V Slim splits because my current amp, VNET 4150 sounds like trash.

Will this work? or would there be distortion,etc?

If this is not going to work, is there any way around the problem? (ie buying some kind of component to reduce voltage,etc?)

it will work, you may not be able to turn the volume up to full, but will still be good up to about 75-80% of volume.
