The next round of Eclipse CAASQ Sound Quality Competition takes place at long time supporters GL Pro Sound. Their events are always great and the guys go out of their way to accomodate us on the day.



This is a State Series sanctioned event in that points will be accrued towards the Victorian Series leaderboard.

The Eclipse CAASQ Competition will take place on the Sunday, July the 17th.

GL Pro Sound have a large pit area behind the building with judging taking place in the workshop TWO cars at a time.

This will be the first event where two teams of judges are being used.

Team One consists of Keith (roughcactus) and Marc Rushton.
Team Two consists of Bruce Embin (cyberpunky) and Robert Canning (Bobby_Digital).

All judges are currently undergoing training and CAASQ format familiarisation.

Judging order:

Team One will judge Pro Street in Lane One simulataously as Team Two will judge Pro Show in Lane Two. Followed by Team One judging Amateur Street while Team Two judges Pro Street.

Competitor Entry / Registration will take place at the front counter between 9:30am - 10:00am - NO LATE ENTRIES Unless Prior Arrangement.

Best Presented Vehicle

The new trophy for this event is "Best Presented Vehicle". This trophy will be awarded to one competitor based on their SQ score, and the general presentation of the vehicle. Ie. Bodykit, Paint, Wheels, Interior etc.
This trophy has been introduced in the hope of attracting higher profile vehicles to Eclipse CAASQ Sound Quality competition.

There will also be additional prizes including an Eclipse CD Tuner.

It is compulsory in [CAASQ] competition to have a suitable fire extinguisher contained within the vehicle / boot to enter - This will be checked.

Autosound 2000 (My Disc) Judging Disc will also be available for purchase on the day for $40.00

I also just want to apologise to everyone for the confusion with the date of this event. It was always planned for the Sunday but somewhere back in the year we made a typo and put the Saturday's date rather than Sundays and that error has been copy/pasted ever since.

The event is going ahead for Sunday the 17th of July.

Bobby Digital will only be judging classes he is not a competitor in. We welcome further involvement from all competitors. Obviously however a competitor with judges training would be bumped from an Amateur class to Pro though.

Well we've already started this round... but when we need some more judges most definately.

One of the pre-requisites is introducing at least two new competitors Bring 'em Sunday
