All the judges...top job today guys. And to everybody else coming to show their support or just coming in to say hi... thank you for your attendance. Hope all had fun. I personally had a laugh Good seeing everybody again!

And please excuse my S Pack for imitating a Calais in it's condition... NEVER will I show up to another meet with the car in such condition!!! Next time if I'm late.. I'm most likely at the car wash! hahahahaha

Congrats to the competitors too there were some very nice sounding cars there today and all in all judging ran smoothly...sorry i had to rush off but thought it better not to attract the wrath of my better half...

Sorry I couldn't come to this one I really wanted to but too busy building my sub box, hopefully if I can get my mum to drive my car and she can go some were else and I will have my car there, but I doubt it. We will just have to wait and see.

well-done to all competitors, especially the trophy winners. i had another successful day, which always makes it worthwhile and more enjoyable.

i auditioned some very nice stereos today. the standard is very high, and to be encouraged.

was fantastic to catch up with people again, and meeting others. thank you to the spectators that made the trip specially to lend support. :thumb:

I had a fantastic time in my first SQ comp!

The day ran very smoothly and it was good to meet and chat to fellow CAA people.

I was stoked with my score and all the good feedback about my system.......

great day, actually had nice sunshine for most of the day and only about 10 seconds of rain.

was good to meet some more new faces: mrs tek, cuzman, tim, axon, (sick of only knowing tiger's )...blanket, u could never scare me, only nikko(?) and that vid on his phone scared me.
great to see shiny win...again. after sitting in his car and actually listening to his system with song i was familiar with, i am in awe and completely understand why he always wins - you dont really need ALL those spare parts do u rich? send some my way haha

highlight of the day: seeing marc race that little mini hrt down the street doing 180's back and forth, and then tiger being too scared to drag it. dont blame u mate, man that thing could fly!!!

next event at tower melton or stylin? if at melton, i'll 90% be in competing (me and u kicker - get that novice class up and running).

yeh was a good event, we were one of the late enteries on the day, but we made it!

congrats to the all the winners again, i decided to run in Am Show class this time for something different but i will most likely be returning to street for the rest of the season. and will also be back with new source, processor and amps for the next round so hopefully a better result...bring on the next one :thumb:

Well what started out looking like a not very promising day and turnout turned into a great event, with particular mention to the social side. This event had the biggest turnout of members just offering support, and sussing out what SQ competition is all about. That's great to see and is great for enticing new competitors into the sport.

As always the level of competition was high standard and that continues to amaze me how far so many people have come.

Of course thanks to GL who continue to support CAA and in particular CAASQ. Just bare in mind guys its not a matter of just opening the shop for the day. The host store must provide the trophies, BBQ, drinks, open the store, staff, give up their weekend etc.

Also a huge thanks to Eclipse who stood forward this year and supported CAASQ. From prizes to additional promotion for CAASQ, as well as attending almost every event these guys have been great!

Looking forward to the next event!

Nah Blanket you're not scary... Andrews video was scary.... Will be at the next one, competing or not (hopefully competing) and lets hope its a bit warmer next time
