Mainly a poll for conventional shavers but you can do it if you use an electric one, just answer NA to the 'directional' questions. Note, you can view the results if you haven't voted.
As usual, I came up with this poll while in the bathroom
Mainly 'cos I found that shaving UP on the moustache area and chin causes more pain than if I shave DOWN on those areas first. Anyway... VOTE!

But you still get a better shave with the electric going up IMO.

I love the shave you get from the barbers with that blade...that's the closest one you'll get!

i too am in Team Electric. Damn it is hell easier, I usually shave every day when i'm in the car driving to uni or work, it saves me 5 mins each day, which means i get 5 more minutes sleep. I must admit that on the RARE occasion that I do shave manually, i seem to get a closer shave. In addition, I find that there are some areas on my neck that I can't get to effectively with my electric, notably the area round the 'adamas apple' but i'd rather miss a few hairs than be late for work! you get some funny looks in the traffic but it's all good!
I reckon a fair few of you would love the sideburn trimmers that come with the Phillips' lol!

Electric shavers don't do it close enough for me... It has to be smooth when I rub upwards. Have to shave down on chin and above lip first or it hurts too much

where does all the droppings of shaving in the car go? do electrics catch em all ? ive never used electric..

Nah beneath the rotor-trimmers there is space where you catch the bristles. It funny pullin up in traffic and emptying out the catchment area and then lookin at the dude in the car next to you, smiling, and continue to shave!

the good ol' philips electric is the way to go just whenever there is a special occasion or whenever it gets like 5mm long so once every 3-5 days. but my electric is cool just for science i shaved over a white sheet today and the shaver caught all of the clippings and the sheet was clean as

So instead of shaving the bum fluff off your face you shave it off your sheets! What a novel idea...

Well, none of those apply to me..
I use a Remington Hair Trimmer, yes like the barbers use, once every 2 months.
