make sure you READ the manual on how to set up the inputs, from memory they take a balanced and non-balanced input and there might also be a floating ground switch...
failing that you can always email PG tech support in the USA as the AUST distributor is going through a change of hands

Okay the eq power and earth leads are leaching from one of the amps, ie connected to the positive and negative termainls off that. Would moving the power and earth cables to feed off what's running the headdeck stop the noise??? P.s I have three days left to fix this before auto showdown HELP ME!!!!!

ok...9835 running 3 rcas out, the rear 1 going to an alpine f240, the other hooked up to the eq215ix, then the high pass and low pass both go to an f545 for the moment, channels 1/2 go to the front, 3/4 power the idmax, the eq is leeching power from the power terminals of the f240, cap, and amps are all earthed at the same point, remote cable goes to the eq, a delayed romote cable goes from the eq to the amps, no rca loops in existance, no power wires runing beside rcas/speaker cables, x-overs are isolated well enough, so is the eq, and none of this was happening b4 i installed the eq...

earth the eq where the amps are earthed, also are the gains set correctly on the eq, if they are too high you might also be bringing the noise floor up with them?
