meh
Hey Guys.

My cousin has a 2005 Carrera which hes looking to add an amp and sub too. It has the BOSE system in there at the moment, with the 6 disk stacker, and he is just after some more bass.

Everywhere he goes tells him it cannot be done as the system in there how is 2ohm, or 1 ohm?

Can anyone shed some light on this? Has anyone done one?

Thanks.
DD Phil
It's no problem at all, any good installer can handle it.

There's lots of products that allow use of a high level input to power a sub amp.

Audio Express
as above. mind you a tube of some description int eh back area would do nicely. mate of mine had a 996 gt3 with an 8" tube in it. worked well.

as for amplifiers - bose use a balanced line on some systems- not sure on porsche.
icacha
if its balanced line then the signal will have to be taken from the output stage NOT the input stage of the amp. you risk blowing the deck and amp biggrin.gif

but as the 2 QLDer's above said, any store with installers that have a brain can work it out smile.gif
