Yeah, there was two Vultron cartoons from memory. The one with the 5 Lions and one with cars. No one I know, knows of the one with the cars. They were also toys.
There's also a cartoon called Ulysses 31 which I couldn't quite figure out but could remember.
Don't forget Dungeons & Dragons, Robotech, Battle of the Planets and Star Blazers!

Transformers orignal would have to be my fav....they screwed it with the new 3d one....optimus prime is a fire truck for christ sake! What is the world comming to?
Also making the list would be:
Robotech
Inspector Gadget
Voltron (have full put together voltron toys still...cats and cars)
Thomas The Tank Engine (i was only 15??)
and the good old Looney Tunes gang on Cartoon Connection.
Speaking of which i played the pinball machine on Cartoon Connection when i was a kid....kicked the chicks ass i was playing against and won heaps of cool stuff (toys, choclate, Toyworld gift voucher, supersoaker etc.....)

Careful, you may be let down by some of them. I watched an episode of Battle of the Planets but they had redone the sound and the music / sound effects sucked and the names weren't the same. Watched the first eppisode of Star Blazers and it wasn't so bad. Robotech would be good though.
