I heard from a friend that they pump quite hard for 12" subs?
I am thinking of 2 of these (P2 or P3 whichever is better) running about 1000wrms from a monoblock into both (500 each)
Opinions?

Spetz,
The P2's and 3's are fantastic subwoofers...both have alot of output and are decent for sound quality too...I would suggest you look into the P3's though...as 1000 RMS and an itchy volume finger will have the P2's begging for mercy as they are only rated for 200RMS each. The P3's are DVC models, have cast baskets, longer excursion etc they are aslo more expensive at $639. PM me if you would like a demo of 2 P3's in a ported enclosure...if your in Vic of course

I'm in the ACT Thanks for the gesture though
I don't think DVC will suit my application, as I really want 2 subs (I will buy 1, see how that goes and might/probably buy a 2nd one). So I was really thinking of using a mono block for 2 subs to get to 2 ohms.
So if I have 2 DVC subs I can only really get 1 or 4 ohms couldn't I? If they are 4 ohm to begin with.
How do yours go? Loud I pressume?? And how much power should I feed them?

Hey spetz I have one P2 in a sealed enclosure running in my zed, I have only ever used RF subs in my cars and I reckon that they are good value for money, well built subs. I like RF because there all about big hard hitting bass if it's sq your chasing then you might be better at looking for something different.
just my opinion cheers
