something that would really scare me, i think, would be a total word count from all the posts i've made online here.

So i went and did my own averages

If we make a ROUGH estimate of 50 words per post, with me having posted 701 times,
we get A STAGGERING 35,050 WORDS

SWEET HOLY CRAP, I COULD HAVE A PH.D THESIS ON CAR AUDIO BY NOW.

everything above that line totals 54 words, its really not much

Someone taken to writing longer replies might write an average of 70 words per post,
if i had, this would equate to
49,070 WORDS
holy crap. So, lets look at the top posters.

shiny_car, with 17,284 posts, at 70 words for post (he's long winded ) 3.11% of total forum posts,

Shiny_Car probably has 1,209,880 words on CAA, CONSERVATIVELY

now lets work this out.
lets make each post an average of 50 words.
3.11% of forum posts = 864,200 words.

do the math,
that equates to 27,787,781 words on CAA.
At a very conservative estimate.

You're forgetting that a lot of information is repeated when someone asks the same question later on. Not to mention, I'm sure not all of your posts are in the audio section, I'm sure there are others (like this one) that are in the General section. Maybe you could aim for a diploma before that PHD.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i'd say Shiny's average would be more along the lines of 150-200 words per post
