Hi all

have two options here can get both at a really good price after good sq.

option one is

Eathquake D2 with 2 x 12" L7 kickers

or

Alpine M1005 with 2 x 12" Type-R

what do you guys think would be best?

no offend but they r SPL gears.

i agree with the kicker eq combo as being more for spl
and the alpine combo for being loud
but the alpine combo built to the right sized boxes will sound sweet (36lt)
and with that power going into it
it will boogie when asked to

go the alpine

the D2 is not renowned for fantastic SQ, but a good subamp nonetheless. however, the alpine should sound nicer (if you can hear those sorts of things).

the L7 subs are superior to the alpine type-R though.

IF you were limited to only those choices, i'd go the EQ-L7 combo cos the subs (and their box) are more important than the amp. obviously ensure you build or have built a suitable subbox for the subs for SQ.

Pyroay and his D2 have done great things in SQ smile.gif

I too would go with the D2 + Kicker combo.
The L7's could sound sweet in a properly built box.
