Hi i have a VT Calais and my antenna was snapped off now i want to replace it. its an Electric one, just wondering if anyone can help me on how to remove the old one and install the new one, any help would be great.

Chock the wheels, and jack up the front end passenger side. Remove road wheel. Inside wheel arch & fender is a plastic guard. Remove retaining screws and remove plastic guard. I think you'll find the rest self explanatory

Genuine antennas are around $80? And then they charge you off the wall prices for labour 2 fix it.

I think genuine would be more than that, well I hope they are, cos I paid $130 for an aftermarket Aerpro one from Autobarn

got jipped - you can buy just the mast for $35 genuine - and then if you're half way mechanically/elctrically minded you can simply afix that to the old motor assembly

Old motor was screwed, new mast would not have fixed my problem.

That's how much it cost... Holden one was more expensive... My motor was screwed, not just a snapped antenna... Please explain how I got jibbed
