damm theives my place got hit again with yet another car stereo nicked this time it was my sisters which was only a bloody pioneer 1450 fro crying out loud luckt to get $50 for it so i now thinking it might be someones revenge or something but dont know who, there is a suspicsion that it was the same pl that got mine and my bro's gear but i not too sure as this was a qwik snatch and grab where the other 2 they took there time and didnt damage a thing but my sisters the smashed the lock inside the door big dent and just ripped the deck out with half the dash aswell.

car got broken into last night too actually...
I was installing a HU on parents KC laser, didnt have the right mounting bracket for it so i had to put the old Radio back in.
Someone musta seen me installing the HU and thought they'd steal it. Bastards broke the lock, didnt steal anything (cause i hadnt installed the HU) then keyed the 2 door panels... while it was in the driveway!
(at least they didnt get the HU!!)

Thats a bugger..
One day someone is gonna take it one step further by catching the guy and beating them up.. THEN its gonna be their fault and the cops aint got no mercy if you do that. Sorry to hear about both of you guys.. 2 months ago installed a system in uncles MX5 and my uncle caught them and kicked one of the guys and the guy tried charging my uncle. It's not worth it..
Once again.. Sorry to hear bout ur stuff..

Although i'm totally against lowlife scum that decide to help themselves to other peoples gear (that we have worked hard to buy and install) I don't think that kicking the $#!T out of them is going to solve anything.
IMO the guy (or girl to be politically correct) who you just beat up will either:
1 - Charge you with assault and get one of their many sheister lawyer mates to defend them and win
OR
2 - Will come back with X amount of mates to get you, or your car, or your family.
I'm still trying to figure out a way that will avoid both of the above mentioned things, but alas i can not. People just need to realise that if a guy/girl is stalking you for your car audio gear, then they most probably know where you live (IMO VERY BAD!!!). Which as i said can result in damage to your car, house or family. Or even your neighbours gear.
Just something to think about before you wave your club lock (or axe or something else sharp) in the direction of the thief. In no way am i condoning car thieves, but i would also most likely turn a blind eye to someone beating up a thief who has obviously robbed their gear. Unfortunately the Police and the courts may not be so lenient.
Just my opinon

PS - i'm very fortunate to have never experienced having any of my stuff stolen. My opinions concerning thieves may change very quickly if i am ever robbed. But this is my opinion at this point in time.

Some guys i know got there cars totally stripped and burnt out, next week there neighbour 2 doors down is cruisen down the street with all this new gear, by new i mean second hand, by second hand i mean stolen, i mean how dumd can you be. These guys are not my friends by the way, i would never associate with people like this but its on topic so i figured id tell the tail. They chucked a sack over his head when he was walking down the street, drugged him up on some funky sh**, replaced the sack with a sleeping bag, drove him out to the middle of nowhere, gave him 40c for a phone call and drove off, went back took all thre gear back.
A week later the house was up for sale, so they knew he survived.
Not a good thing, but, its hard to feel sympothetic for theives.

of course if you caught a theif stealing your gear, you'd only get away with beating them up if they were unable to communicate to give evidence afterwards...

Easy cars to get into and take car audio from. All I can say is "Get a F**KEN alarm".
A thief will not do a 'smash and grab' if there's a security device on the car, if the thief is a pro, he'll take a Tickford or HSV before waiting time on a $2G stereo!!
