WARNING!! This topic has graphic photos of a bird stuck in a grill!

This happened to a mate of mine (fellow CAA member). At the time this was funny (mainly because it seemed so unlikely to happen the SECOND time)....well....i guess you'd have to be there. Supposedly birds are able to commit suicide, so it doesn't seem as harsh. I tell you though, it was an effort to get it out.

Since my folks got their new car they've driven to newcastle twice... and both times the got a galah stuck somewhere in the engine bay.

both times i had to clean them out...

whenever I see a bird flying across my car I usually slow down a bit.. I havent hit anything even though Ive driven through the bush and country side many times.. knock wood
