Hey guys, just change my system to run active but now there's noise come out from tweeter eventhough the HU volume is set to zero. It's kind of like "hissing" noise (not sure if I spelling it right

).
Anyone can help me to make this noise disappear ?
-cheers-

Are your woofers and tweeters using the same amp, or a different one.
Its probably one of 2 things.
Amp is not properly grounded, or there is noise interferance.
Check your RCAs and make sure they are properly connected, also check that your RCAs dont run close to any power wires, ideally they should run on the other side of the car.

Three different Amps for each driver (tweets, mids and subs), it's an Alpine CDA9835 in a 2002 Honda civic sedan. We rewire the RCA in a different route from power cable.

it could be that you are hearing system noise that was too quiet to hear before...
how loud is it?
maybe the tweeter amp gain is too high
what's doing the crossover?
if it's an external x-over, then maybe it's gain is set too high
this aasumes it is hiss from the system, and not from anything else.
next test, hook up a full-range (like a coaxial) speaker and see if there is still hiss.
what x-over frequency are you using?

I'll let the owner answer this part

, but i can tell that the amp gain for the tweeter is set way down if not none.

xover for the tweeter is set at 2kHz at 6db slope, it's the recommended frequency for this particular tweeter!
