ok people i need some advice which amp is better for me
im looking at a
DD Z1 $2000
or
EARTHQUAKE PH D3 $1200

i need the amp to run 2 MTX RFL's
what should i do???

Do a search on Termpro. I recall reading that one user found a single Z1 was better than two D3s.

Z1, strapable too.. D3's arent.

I'd be trying to track down an Eaudio 3000d or 2

Brand new they are $1300 each, 2nd hand well you'd probably be able to get a little change from $1000 if you can bargain well.

They are powerful amps, will burp at .25 ohms reliably and are strapable also, but at 500mm long also require a bit of room to install them(as do the Z1s at 630mm long)

(they might be hard to come by though as I'm pretty sure VL has stopped bringing them in to Oz)

What coils are your RFLs?
