thought i'd give my new 2volt cells a good reconditioning! hooked 8 up for a 16v pack, read 16.6v on the meter... nice
hooked up my special flattening device biggrin.gif and they read 1.6v this morning, i could have gorne further but i showed restraint unsure.gif hehe

they've taken all day charging at 20amps to bring them back to 16v and dam did they give my charger stick for a while blink.gif
an hour ago they were at 16.4 so they havent even began to charge yet smile.gif sweet.

the charger will be left on for about a week then i might be getting somewhere, then to start the next pack....ah!! i love agm batteries smile.gif

thats not stick. try a 16V setup with a 24V charger biggrin.gif 120A dropping back to 80A constant and the strong stench of gasing (sealed) batteries.

i used to give my other standard lead acid battery setup 24volt, there was gas and liquid bubbling out everywhere smile.gif i stopped doing it cause i though 24v was a bit harsh but i found out after i had the charger modded for 16v that the particular ones i had could handle up to 22v so it wasn't to far off.

sealed is a different matter! less stick the better they just get to hot and if they vent to much they begin to dry up inside
