After a months wait to get my stupid Pocket PC fixed (battery exploded) the nice people from NEC sent me a new one. Its got all sorts of nifty features, like Off-line E-mail, Scheduler, Contacts list and such. It'll record & play back WAVe files, Mp3's and AVI's. It's even got an offline Movie Time Table for my local cinema, an offline version of the Sun Herald and such..
Which is all nice, but not fun.. so I look around for a program to remotely control WinAmp from the Pocket PC while its docked to my work PC.
Then I find a program called TV Remote.
What does it do ? Converts your Pocket PC into a full customisable, skinnable, programmable IR remote control !
I've got a PS2 remote & Alpine RUE-4135 remote built into my Pocket PC ! At lunch I'm getting the model #s for our TV's, DVD's, VCR's and everything else I can find and downloading their remotes too
Sharing the wealth....
