think u need a processor or pre amp to control the rotel. mate used to have a similar amp. had a big 2 channel(200w a side i think and a 6 channel bridged(3chans about 150 a chan) for centre and rears.

Yes Tom its a 2 channel amp, not a reciever, which means there is no volume knob...
aaah the 980bx. free plug for a wonderful little power amp! (i used to own one... )
