We received unfortunate advice this morning that the trade publication "Australian Car Audio Retailer" will no longer be produced.

I take my hat off to the guys for having a crack at it.

yep I recieved the email this afternoon when I got in. (and I had an article written for the next one.)

Its ironic, as "industry support" of things like magazines, CAASQ, dB Drag etc is something Tony and I were discussing just last night.

I had a new patrol writtien up and a suzuki liana one done as well ( with out pics.)


seems industry support ( or lack of time I would think on everyones behalf) is really needed to keep one of these mags going.

the concept was based on installation news which was the US version.
Tony had the idea and was asking me which way to steer it. maybe since the industry has had a taste it will revive the mag over time.

not entirely sure. I do know that audioxtra had a decent sized box full of them.

Well whilst I am not fussed about the remainder of my $66 subscription, collectively, that could equal quite a lot of money. Surely in this situation refunds should be given to all subscribers ?

Depends on how it was wound up, I'm sure there would be creditors ahead of subscribers in the queue should monies be owed.

I believe some subscribers have begun receiving refund cheques.
