ok.......pondering inverting a sub....as title suggests

just wanna know what some methods are for hiding the friggen wires!!!

now the monoblock might only be a foot away........but i guess i could jus get like 2 or 3 foot o cable to run it hidden if necessary

anyone got pics with inverted subs...with the cabling shown!?!?!?!?!?!?

have got a few pics of installs....but most seem to show the sub wiht no cables connected!!......

jus an idea

cheers

(o yeh...DVC sub)

yep..

i do mate.. smile.gif
i inverted my IDMAX, and the Xenon 1200.1 was about 30cm away.. because of the styleof my boot and colour schemes, the normal speaker wire didnt look right.. so i used 8 gauge power cable, blue and silver..

looks good if done right.. smile.gif
but its harder to run wires under the panel if there is a sub box there, unless you wanna drill 2 lots of holes.. i dont think so, not for me.. smile.gif

any more pics????!!!!! or suggestions

i got my car today!!!...finally lol

RA60 Celica.....hatch.....2.0L....RWD.....independant rear suspension......(see attatchment)

u'll see the plan for the boot below (......first 5 mins of lookin at the car lol).......lookin good or wat......not sure about inversion yet.......

anyone got a formula for workin out the volume of the box.....or am i gunna have to split it....into like 4 triangular boxes.......and a cube? lol

main prob i thinik i gunna have is fittin 3 din slots between air con controls and the gear stick lol.....all fun and games tho

Buy a bean bag refill and work it out from there. Not the cheapest way but pretty accurate if u have funky box.

thats the way to do it

hmm...thats what i was afraid of....ah well...all fun and games hey

yeh i remember seein ur car at x-torque too vega...very tidy.....hmm

see my prob is there no bit o false floor on the same level as the sub......

what about.........seein as the 3512 dvc....running one pair o cables down one of the edges to the base of the subbox then to the monoblock......and then the other pair o cables down the edge on the other corner (obviously the other edge on the mono side...or maybe both top corners...hmm)......

hows the stress on the rear windshield in these instances?........vega ur sub seems to be pretty close to the glass of the hatch....have many problems? (noises.....seals etc).......and would inverting the sub....make much difference?

cheers
