Hey guys, just a quickie..

My slot port faces into the cabin and I’m going for the 'eerie glow emanating for it' look. I know theres nothing worse than looking directly at the neon/ccfl so I plan to paint the inside of the port. What the best type/colour of paint to suit a red neon??

then you can change what ever colour light you puttin gin it

white or black. I use black on most of mine.

get a black ccfl and get some UV paint from pccasegear.

Erm, if he's planning on putting a neon inside the sub-box, i'd recommend a L.E.D. Wouldnt the NEON tend to shake itself to death?

yes, neons in sub boxes tend to have very bad results. A mate did the same thing, and the neon virtualy exploded not a good sight

i had a ccfl in mine for 2 years and was fine.

ccfl isn't a problem.... the "under the car fast and the furious style" neons are a problem in the enclosure. I've seen this in many boxes and laughed when they turn it up a little..

mine has a neon in it and hasnt been a problem.... hope im not speaking too soon
