Hey all, my local car audio store has just got a meter, and i have been wanting to get a reading on my G/Fs lanos for some time now, i have 3 10" in 34L chambers each and ports tuned to about 33hz and about 300wrms to each woofer, i was wondering roughly what frequency sine wave i should use, i know that it requires alot of testing to find the cabin resonate frequency, but i was just after a starting point to get a rought db reading.
Cheers

just test in ballpark of 40-65hz.
maybe start at say 40 then go up in 5hz increments.
then go back and see where the peak was.
and test around there to get the exact tone.
make sure you leave enough time to charge the battery and let you subs cools to get precise measurements.

chances of it peaking at 40 are pretty low but due to having pretty low tuning it may be loud down there.
good luck mate.
