well i had one.
and was hitting 142's running of the fusion 9001d mono in my SSS pulsar, and then with my DEI amp it was high 143's, went and won me a few comps i was happy with it never faulted me one bit even when i was giving it 2500wrms still played great, although i have seen a few blow due too improper use so be carefull.
as for sound well it sounded good considering it was always in my spl box hehehehe.
i would buy another one though so they must be ok, i am thinking bout buying some of the 10" version.

I worked as Fusions service manager for two years, great sub real value for money but don't expect the worlds best SQ... give it 2.5-3 cf and it will reward you for it...

We've been using two in SPL comps and have hit 145.1 TL with strapped caliber 2000D's providing 2500wrms. Have taken some big burps and are still going strong. As long as you build the box correctly and to a more musical alignment then there will be no troubles for day to day street beating

I have a powerplant 15". Set me back just under $400. Money well spent. It pounds! In the next few weeks im building a ported box for it. 3.0cuft with 2 x 4"dia ports (fusion manual). Meant to be pretty nice.
Sorry to hijack but anybody experimented with 15" fusion pp sub boxes before?

C'mon Woob - you dropped 1.1 dB after using duct tape.. what you do with it? Remember we're decreasing air resistance at the edge of the woofer

and yes.. duct tape is banned on interior panels only - its panel reinforcement apparently

.. oh well.. more duct tape for the boxes then

I believe that was because somebody was leaning on your boot lid?
Duct tape is good stuff, I use it on the rounded edges of my MDF ports and on my smoothed corners.

I've got 2x15" fusion powerplants running on a jbl gto 1201.1 class d mono and it fkn PUMPS
145.7dB on an AC but it's sealed. Could possibly be getting low 140's with it on a TL.
unfortunately for me... i can't get my box ported as i don't have a big enough enclosure
