Hey guys,
I have a JL 12w3v2-D2, in a box that I purchased with it.. It was purchased from Doran Audio in Sydney.. Not sure on the spec's at all, but it's a pretty big box..
reason for this post is, I'm looking at making another box/install for the rear of my car, to make it a bit tider, and hopefully the box a bit smaller...

I'm after a set of box dimensions for the sub... the specs of the sub are as follows...

have you tried using the car audio enclosure calculator?? i found it quite useful =p

i was ultimately concerned about the shape of the box..if i try to sit it that far in the back of the boot, and i make the box slightly wider and thinner, will that affect the sound?
I'd still have the overall volume of the box the same, but the shape may be modified to fit in the back of the boot...

The speaker would fit inside of the box ?
The box response is not satisfactory ?
It makes a box of each side .
