What silliness have you done to damage your car or stereo?

I'm yet to do anything however a mate from work once overheated and pulled over to let it cool. He was in a bit of a rush so he poured some ambient temperature water over the engine. Needless to say his head warped.

kerbs... Kerbs hurt... Don't underestimate the power of the kerb...

Wet weather, wheel went into the drain, metal bar above the drain continued under the car and wreaked havoc on the suspension...

Found out it's best to do certain things on a skid pan or circuit the _hard_ way... Or at least in BIG parking lot...

One of my mates did $20,000+ damage to a Subaru Forrester AWD

They didnt write the car off, becouse not a single pannel was damaged on the car.

it was raining and he slid into a gutter quite quickley

bit of a stupid effort on my old car, especially since i've done a fair bit in mechanics and radiators.

one of my heater hoses split while on delivery and pretty much emptied my radiator, guage went to red and all that, got to the house, made the delivery, got some tap water and started filling it up, could actualy hear cracking noises, so i kept on filling it to see what it was

My dad has backed into my old car twice, on two separate occasions. Seems he doesnt think to look behind when reversing.

nearly murdered my sisters little peugeot after she was good enough to lend it to me for however many months:(

driving back form teh shop near work during my lunch break, took corner a bit too fast, from wheel went sideways into curb the towy, and my mech both said if i'd have been going 5kmh faster i'd ahve rammed the shaft into the gearbox and the car woudl have been ****ed good and proper...

no panel damage cause i was lucky... missed a fat **** metal telegraph pole bu about 70cm, a tree about as thick as my leg by about a foot, and 2 pedestrians by about 2 metres... also came fairly close to writing off at least one of the 2 other guys in teh car with me..

$1200 worth of suspension components (some 2nd hand to save money) and work.. i got off cheap, still the most expensive sausage roll i've ever eaten... nearly bought it back up to when i realised i couldnt jsut back it off the kerb...

Reversing my dad's ute out of the garage, looking backwards and not thinking. I turn the wheel too early and smash the front guard into the side of the garage door frame. It put a big dent in the ute and actualy broke the foundation on the house.

took traction control off my mums lexus on a wet day around the roundabout.

skidded into a side street hitting gutters on the way. lucky cos i had no control over it as it was a tiny sidestreet and going downhill, didnt want to brake quickly.

not used to FR's especially without TC, after driving a FF =/
