does anyone know about freight prices? I need a package shipped from america to australia, about 1kg, maybe 10x10x5 cm big.

From memory you can get quotes for shipping on www.ups.com and www.usps.gov

You'll be looking at anywhere from US40-US60.
So between $80 and $100 bucks... That will be 4-10 day shipping... a heap more for express.
Then also....if its something new your bringing in... either dont insure it or prepare for the customs duty

www.usps.com has a calculator
so approx $7US using an envelope which takes about 10 days to get here.
envelope should fit ur dimensions.
