OK, here's one for Matt P or other 1337 phone geeks
I'm getting a motorola a830 on a 3 'plan' and was wondering what the video/mp3 capabilities of the phone are ? Like what bitrate can it handle and does it do VBR ? I can't find the specs anywhere so maybe someone who's got one can help.
I reckon it's a bargain. Its 2 for the price of 1 so get a mate together and basically $240 for the phone including $20 of video messages/month for 2 years + 32MB memory card, 2 mains chargers, 2 batteries, stereo headset and usb gear to hook it to the computer. Even for a mp3 player and SD card alone it'd be almost worthwhile, plus I'll use it as a notetaker for work and it'd pretty much a PDA with all the features (for the price)
PS: I have no affilliation with 3 I just think it's a pretty sweet deal.
