vindago (one of our regulars on CAA) was telling me how he was going busking on the weekend so he could get a few bucks to buy a decent quality sub...
What are the craziest things you guys have done??
for me it was doing 'alcohol testing' for colmar brunton research when i was 17 (I scammed my way in being under age) and i was saving up for my first head unit... Got payed $150.00 for testing drinks that made me feel very very sick, they had huge alcohol compositions and very little actual decent taste

NUMB - consider yourself lucky, I know a bunch of 17 year olds that would have done it for free.

I'd do it for a resonably low price (being 17 and all, it just means i aint paying for it!!! )

last year i did door to door selling. i worked there for a month, made $400 in that time, and somehow managed to walk out of there without giving htem the finger, wiping my **** on teh carpet (i cann taht a "mud slide"), or burstinga tyre on one of the vans. in fact, they made me feel guilty about it. half price shutters are the root of all evil..
at the time, i had intended to work ther for ALL of last year... i barely had enough money to stay alive, let alone buy car audio stuff that was however teh goal...
this year.. i put off getting what could hav ebeen an urgent service done to my car to buy my subs... thats about it...
i did once eat a pepper sandwich (READ: LOTS OF PEPPER) at a party so i could get $10 to buy some maccas after teh party and a train ticket home..
haha

i've done the "juggle two jobs at once" trick...70 hour weeks arent much fun, but you dont have time to go out, so you just end up saving it
other than that, i think i've been pretty tame. Either layby it and work hard enough to pay it off or throw it on the credit card

I've gone into debt with friends, i sold heaps of my stuff for audio, eg. Jaycar Party Speakers, i loved those things .
I work 2-3 jobs alot, mainly on my holidays.
In year 8 a guy paid me 15 bucks to get him invited to a party, hehehehe, but he never paid....
