Ok, I'm looking for the names of acouple of old arcade games. They are all of the same genre, essentially some sort of plane that slowly flies forward with the player looking at the whole 'battle scene' from above. The plane can move back and forth and side to side and shoots at other planes or stuff on the ground and can pick up powerups.
Does anyone know what I am talking about?

my favourite game ever in this series is a niche one
its called 'twinkle star sprites' and its great game
its a neo geo game and has lots of cute characters and flashy colours and runs at 200kmh (well you know what i mean)
