I am Soundstream and as i clearly stated the Soundstream Tarantula equaled the score of the DD in testing.

Finals will see me utilise Soundstream woofers if i get there.

But if someone wants to give me a sub to use i would use any brand. Why wouldnt i its free.

Both scores i posted first in Adelaide was top score 148.5db using a Soundstream Tarantula $549 Motoquipe special dual 1 ohm coil. Couldnt get it any louder because of skipping problems with the deck and a ground loop noise because the deck blew the rca earth tracks.

During testing i blew the woofer which is expected and then used a DD because i wanted to test the difference.

The Tarantula and DD were neck and neck right up untill 150db. I couldnt afford anymore woofers so i utilised the DD i had for the competition at the Gazzanats. Score 150.2 but i strapped two XXX amps onto the DD.

Now where do you see that the DD is a proper sub and the Soundstream isnt?

148.5db out of a $549 special and 1 monoblock amp is a good score and most people cannot achieve that using two amps and two 12 inch subs.

The only amps i use are the Soundstream XXX-6500d and i simply cannot find a better all round amp and I have tested a few.
