Toyota SC14 Rootes supercharger.
Electric lockup clutch (turn it on and off) works fine.
Inlet & outlet manifolds attached.
Compresses just fine, no leaks.
Not to be confussed with the smaller SC12 found on the 4AGZE engines, this is the "big" unit for 6's.

Bought for a car that I no longer own, so no longer need it.
Castlemaine Rod Shop builds a kit to mount these to VN-VY Commodore V6's.

$350. No offers.

What vehicles will this exact supercharger kit be suitable for?
I could be interested. smile.gif

What car do you have ? Its just a matter of brackets, drive belt and pipe work to fit it as is.

Its a bracket mounting supercharger (like an alternator), so it can be adapted to pretty much anything from 1.3 up to 4 litres.

Toyota guys use this as an upgrade for their 1.3l 4AGZE.
This unit came from a 2litre Toyota 6 (1G-GZE).
Castlemaine Rodshop makes the bolt on kit to adapt this bad boy to suit Holden V6's.
You could mount it on a Ford 6 up to 4 litres with the right pipe work and brackets.

Draw thru the throttle like a normal supercharger.. or you can blow thru the throttle and run a BOV for PSSSSHT on gear changes.
Easy to intercool too !

HKS make smaller drive pulleys if you need more boost.. funnily enough Castlemaine sell them too wink.gif

if only i had $350!! angry.gif
i had a mate who had one of these on his VS V6 and it went well..
TCRS brought them out with a kit..
so basically, your just sellin the huffer??
Tiger
Hmm.... we need to talk wink.gif
Wasnt Me
so will this work in a camry V6 with the 1mz?
Extremely interested if it can
Elmo
What would be needed to make this fit!
I've got a Lexus ES300.
Wasnt Me
lol same as what it'll take to fit it in a camry =P both are 1mzfe

Tiger & Damo, you know where to find me tongue.gif and yes its JUST the blower.
I was gunna fit this to my VS Berlina + extractors + 2" pipes + Liberty air to water intercooler (stealth).. but well I dont have that car anymore sad.gif

Everyone else:

To fit this to any engine you will need:
- Mounting brackets made
- A drive pulley fitted onto the crank
- Drive belt
- Rampod air filter to bolt onto the inlet
- Pipe work from the supercharger to the intake throttle
- Blow off valve on the 'charger to throttle pipe

Thats pretty much it. Its low boost (4-6 PSI) and will be ok on most stock engines running Premium. Talk to a mechanic first tho, I make no guarantee's.

If you want more power, intercool it, up the boost (smaller pulley on the blower), fit extractors and get a regraphed ECU.

BUMP ! Where'd all the interest go ?
BlackIce
Still want it gone.. need money for a Mazda B6T

smaller pulley will ultimately kill blower! the unit is worth more like 300 dude, i used to work for CRS so i know all about these beasts, expect a 20-25% increase in power with the standard set up guys! best suit commodore V6, dont blame me when smoke is coming out the exhaust, other than that there a good system abeit bulky and ugly, keep an eye on oil and services, contact CRS for more info there glad to help but rod has since sold up so im not sure how the new guys do buisness!

Just to clarify, are you saying these units aren't reliable? or only if not regularly serviced?
BlackIce
He's saying if you overboost it with smaller pulleys it'll wear the huffer out faster.

Anyway, unit is SOLD ! Please close.
