Full Version: good quality AMP to Rainbow speaker

hi guys. what do you think about xtant AMP 604e and Soundstream AMP (Chorme one with 4 Ch)? are they ok to run Rainbow Platinum 2 ways 6.5? or do you have any comments? i am finding the most suitable AMP to run this stuffs. i just play with SQ only. laugh.gif also, i heard my mate said Xtant will have new AMP in next years to replace 604e. :huh: is that truth?

try Tru-technology , ARC Audio XXK series, Zapco C2K series, Audison VRx series etc. etc.

Have a look at Milbert and Phass, I've heard only good things, but haven't had any experience personally

try phass RE series or Brax, where's your location? if in perth, try contact yanddy from A&T, he's good at high end product

I've used Tru Technology and Arc Audio on my Rainbows, and I've been very pleased with them both.

I would use Tru Tech but I am very biased biggrin.gif Still I dont think you can go wrong with a Tru/Rainbow combo.

At $3k i wouldn't even consider a soundsttream amp. Their old ones were fine but they've slowy been going downhill ever since they were sold off.
