Hi I am looking to get my system installed by a pro,
I am most likely going tog et Marty from FHRX to do an install. Just wondering if you guys could recommend any one else for me to compare with.
SQ System
Alpine 9835 (already installed)
Phoenix Gold Ti 6 COMP Elite. Front Splits (quick self install jobbie, need to be redone)
Phoenix Gold Ti 600.2 Splits Amp
Just ordered new sub and amp :
Phoenix Gold X12D2 Sub(im only getting 1x 12" sub, I should get the D2 is that correct?)
Phoenix Gold X600.1 Monoblock sub amp.
Any reviews on the sub and amp? Looking for SQ, not big on SPL, will the amp power the sub nicely?
My car is a 180SX Type-X. Ill probably get a simple custom sub enclosure, i took out my spare tyre, so i want the sub to go in there. Want to make sure installer has solid knowledge about sound setups.
Any recommendations will be great. Prefer newcastle, but i dont htink there are anyone decent in newcastle to install sound gear, so sydney is fine.

Hey marty
Thanks champ,
Quick question, how do you rate the sub and amp package listed above? And for a single 12" sub should i get the X12D2 or the X12D4 with my monoblack X600.1?

Didn't you say above that you've already ordered a D2 sub?
I would present the amplifier with a 4ohm load myself but you can use either with that amp.

I could still get either the D4 or D2,
I'll get the D4 then, cheers

Also, If i get the Phoenix Gold ZR6.5COMP splits for the rear (i can get them for next to nothing), are they ok to be run off the deck? Or should i get something that requires a little less power, they are rated at 70WRMS, i think the alpine is only maybe 30-40 WRMS?

I said 4ohm load to the amp dude; for this you'll need a dual 2.

Of course, how could I forget good old Graham? He's done some serious installs in his time.
