Hi all looking at upgradeing my front stage amp, I currently have an alpne MRV/T757 2x75WRMS, and want something tailored to SQ that puts out a bit more power. My Budget is between $800-$1200, I would prefer to get it through my local shop, which sells, Alpine, Rockford, Clarion, Soundstream and JVC, however they are a member of CAM so can probably source most brands. It will be used to power some Dynaudio splits

Any advice would be great

Alpine or Soundstream IMHO, based purely on brands smile.gif

No not unhappy, just want an amp more suited to sq, and with more power. Any ideas in my budget?

hmm, some amps that spring to mind (not amongst those listed brands though):

*boston acoustics GT-24 $1099
*audison VRx2.150 $1092 + xover module
*phoenix gold X200.2 $1100

having run a set of System240 through a VRx2.150, this would be my choice. superb SQ. or else the boston.
