looking at doing the DVD/screen thing in the car now

3 screens
2 in the head rests and one mounted on the dash

now the head rests are not removable plus its got the square hole in em

how much u reckon it would cost to get then re-done to suit a simple screen
size iam still not sure about

now the head rests are rectangle about 165mm wide by 85mm high
now id like to run it through the audio system aswell
(2x12inch subs)amped
6inch 2ways parcel shelf. head unit
6inch splits amped
Kenwood head unit

wat other things will i need to look out for cos ive got no idea on wat type of dvd player to get

i know it sounds all over the place but thast why i need some help on planning it all out

where do you live? go to a pro audio shop and get a quote on installing a screen. common size is 6.5"-7" so IF you supply screen what the cost would be to install it. the screens would need to eb mounted and the headrest would need to be retrimmed by a auto trim place. screens plus install and retrim ud be looking at a grand minimum(depends on screens tho)

time to call in some major favours lol

considering 2 screens will be $600ish for the pair.. $400 to mod the head rests install and retrim is pretty good.. i would probably expect more

$1k min. more on the $1.2K area doing it properly. good screens aren't cheap.
