I'm on dialup right now, and I can say this latest upgrade has increased site speed dramatically!

on every thread now i have to click the link repeatitively else it will 'forget' that it was loading a page and say 'done' (im using firefox)..
if i leave the site open for ages it tends to go away gradually.. but as soon as i close the browser and go back to the site its annoying as it was to start with

I actually don't think its anything on this end to be honest. I also use Firefox, and have been using the site in both IE, FF, and on dialup and broadband yesterday.
I can't recreate the problem you mention.
Try cleaning out your cookies / cache (then close all open windows) and reopen caraudioaustralia.com

I have a similar problem on my home computer (Firefox) AND on the School's computers (Internet Explorer), although nowhere near as bad as what Woob is experiencing.
