G'day all,

I am looking for a 12", but this is going for a good price in the for sale section. Could one day find a twin, but I'm not all about bass, so a 10 will suit me fine.

It's an Image dynamics ID10 V.3 D4 and stats are as follows:

Size: 10 inch
Rec. Sealed Box Dims: 0.40 - 0.80 cu.ft.
Rec. Ported Box Dims: 1.10 - 1.60 cu.ft.
Free Air Usage: yes
Sensitivity: 85.6 dB
Frequency Response: 10-150 Hz
Recommended RMS Power: 250W
Peak Power Handling: 500W
Impedance: dual 4 ohms subwoofer wiring options

For $150 (or whatever I can get it for), this could be a cheap little addition to my subless system. I like the small box and i've read some good reviews.

Opinions?
Is the IDQ series that much better?
How should I run this? I only have 4ohm outputs available, but one or two channels and enough power.
Planning on a sealed box to keep a tight sound unless someone can convince me otherwise.
I would be running it by itself untill the day I decide I need another one... if that day comes

Cheers for the help in advance biggrin.gif ,

I personally have heard this sub in action(am a friend of Dales) and can say that it does sound good and goes hard whilst doing it.

I have 4 of the 12" version of this sub and they hammer bigtime. I have them in the smaller of the box recommendations and it is a bit on the boomy side, but I needed the boot space. They have a rated xmax of 17mm, and have no problems moving air when fed good power. If you want more SQ than output by the IDQ. If you want good SQ but more output, get the ID.

For that price it would be a great buy.

Or you could win the lottery and buy an IDMAX smile.gif
