Yeah but the point here Skinny is that those subs were designed for in car use dude.
Noone cares what you do at home.
Bring it to the lanes we arent scary noone is going to hold it against you that your brain is slightly malnutritioned

.
As a matter of fact we will love whooping your ass

.
Dude you gotta good job now your making money got yourself a termlab, so why not splash out on a small hatch some decent gear and start competing.
maybe you missed the whole point of this thread? lol
"I'm aiming for 140dBs in the HOUSE"
now that we've cleared that up... a woofer is a woofer... its a voice coil, a cone, a fixed magnet, a surround, and a spider... oh, and a basket.

is there a difference between a "car subwoofer" and a "home subwoofer"? not really... if anything, this pioneers are more for home use, as in my opinion, a "car subwoofer" would suit a small, sealed box, as a car is only small, and these Pioneers do not.
would you like me to buy a "home audio" subwoofer? just so I can say its a home sub, and not a car sub?
I imagine these horns would do 145dBs in the car, except its going to be SS1-2 WALL, because the boxes are too big....
right now, I'm looking into buying some GOOD 10's, and a high powered amp, and making a pair of small horns to go in a VAN!!! yes, a VAN, because I reckon I can fairly easily make it to 150dBs, using the efficiency of the horns, rather than making use of a small cabin...
make sense?
why must we always argue? I want to see Australia take out some of the WORLD records, but with all this arguing, nothing ever happens.
dude, you MAY be the loudest Street A in Australia, but you're still like 6dBs off the world record!!!
