hey

im currently running soundstream splits off a kicker kx350 amp..
my right speaker appears to have a lack of vocals, but the music is there. is it anything to do with freq? i have tried changing over rcas but still have the same problem sad.gif

Are sure your tweeter is connected??

More detail. Are the drum kicks there? is everything BUT cymbals muffled? What headunit are you running?

I'd swap the rca's first.. Then swap the crossovers over next.. and then if still no change i'd swap the drivers over themselves.

hey guys

i swapped over rca's and fix the phase of speakers... but the problem was still there. and yes, the tweeters definately work.

i could hear every instrument in the music, but couldnt hear main vocalists. the rh speaker was phasing in and out.

but i found the problem! yes!! the wire had come loose from the midbass haha. but not only that, ive found out my window seals have been leaking water and my midbass has been getting wet sad.gif so it might be affecting it

also, i installed a jbl601.1 and a kicker kx350.4 and now my system, randomly POPS.. the bass will come back on but the music doesnt. when i turn off my headunit and turn it back on everything works again.. i thought it may be a short circuit so i taped up the wires to the amps but still does it. it deosnt happen to often, pretty seldomly, but when it does happen it really sounds like its damaging equipment sad.gif

also another thing, i was mucking around tuning my system.. can anyone clarify what the hz/khz on the eq are equal too (eg 50hz = sub/low). im running a pioneer 8650 and have a 13 band eq - but not sure on what is what. my lpf is 63hz (6db slope) and my hpf is 80hz (12db slope)
