Does anyone here have a DV camera which came with a capture card which has analogue inputs? If so, what's the make and model?

Yep, I've got a panasonic NVDS30 - or is it DS50...
Either way they both have A/V inputs and they're one of the only cameras that does (the newer models are probably the same)

That was the main reason I brought that camera over the others which all had fairly similar specs. I tape stuff onto the DV tape from VHS or other cameras and then firewire it into the computer as DV. The picture is better than analogue cap cards I've seen and doesnt have the frame dropping and lip synch probs that alot of them do.

They can be had for under $1000 now which is dirt cheap.

Ahh... yeah, I was hoping that the card that came with the camera would have firewire plus analogue but all Panasonic cameras have analogue and DV in on the camera so it's not going to matter. I'm just thinking of getting their NV-DS60A-S which is their base one but should do the trick. It's about a grand. Only thing was that my mate is after a capture card too. He's got one of the early digital cameras but doesn't have DV output, analogue only

Cheers
