Hey, anyone here whose a computer guru might be able to help me out with this.. One of my m8's has just told me that theres a virus called 'jdbgmgr.exe' that might be on my comp, i ran a search for it and found it in windows/system32 (is a 15kb .exe and was last modified on the 28/02/2003 @ 6:26PM), and a second one exactly the same in windows/lastgood/system32 (modified 29/08/2002 @ 10PM, which is b4 i even bought this comp brand new)

I have nortan and its always up-to-date and runs a scan once a week and I have never found this. I don't wont to delete it till I know its bad, my mate already removed it from his comp.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out,

Mike

Oh **** , my mate just told me to check this out: http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data....file.hoax.html and went offline soon after. Only a hoax, ahwell, should save some ppl some concern.

Yep its a hoax. Deleting it probably wont make any difference to you at all. If I remember correctly it has something to do with IE jscript?

Anyways dont delete it and dont worry about it
