Yeah well done the Lions. I'm an Adelaide fan, I couldn't watch the game after half time. I actually thought that it was a fairly sloppy game of footy, especially midway during the second quarter. I think that was the telling moment for the Crows; they just couldn't push forward!
One of the worst games i've seen for a long time in terms of execution. I've heard the last quarter performance was excellent by the Lions, they deserved to win. I think the heat may have been a factor. Just on that, I think that it is rather unfair that the Lions have a cool room in their change rooms, but one is not provided for opposition sides. I'm not saying that is the reason the Crows lost, but at 8:30'ish it was still 27 degrees at half time! That's hot to be playing such an intense game of footy! Anyways, we had our turn in 97-98, time we let someone else have a crack! Just don't let Eddies Pies get into the final!
Oh, does anyone else think that channel tens coverage of the finals, and specifically the commentary, is abosolute **** ? I can take anthony hudson, but any more 'special comments' from silvagni and i'm going to go insane! I much prefer the likes of Gary Lion etc. Just my gripe!
Cheers...Mitch

I wanted Brissie to lose - way too strong in the final quarter.
Where was Carey tonight?
He had a pretty **** night...was he on the bench all game or something?
Anyway, GO BOMBERS!

Im a hawk supporter and live in Adelaide. Adelaide will not win until they learn how to lace out a pass to their forwards. They will not win against good teams bombing in high and long. They are not strong overhead especially Carey. Lace out hit them on the chest like the top few teams do, they will score much better.
