hey all
as the title says, is there any way to normalise tracks on an MP3 data cd?
i know you can do it when converting MP3 back to a normal audio CD, per this thread:
http://www.caraudioaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=57473but is it possible for an MP3 data disc?
highly annoying when playing MP3's and 1 is soft so you turn it up, then the next is loud!
cheers

I think you'd have to batch convert the cd to wav, normalise it, then batch convert it back. I'm hoping thats what chanhonam was trying to say...lol.

There is programs that normalise MP3's, but obviously you can't do it to a CD as it is read only.
Goto download.com and search for "mp3 normalize" (stupid Americans).
Even Google it, I was looking into it a while ago and found a forum with a thread about normalising by the peak or the audio and by the average volume of the audio, etc... It was pretty interesting, I ended up not normalising anything after reading it.
