Hey all,

I am looking at getting the Pioneer tssw124d which is 300W RMS at 4 ohm.

Now I wanted to know if this Response amp would be suitable for it:

Specs:
Power / channel @ 4 Ohm 14.4V 130WRMS x 4
Power / channel @ 2 Ohm 14.4V 190WRMS x 4
Power / channel (bridged) @ 4 Ohm 14.4V 380WRMS x 2

As it is rated at 380WRMS x 2 @ 4 ohm would that be alright to run off two channels bridged for each sub or is that too much power?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

You could, it would run fine...
But i'd suggest looking at the monoblock as this is more efficient and suited to running subs. Would feed your subs 700wrms @ 2ohm (350wrms each).

Thanks fury.

For the monoblock you have suggested do you have the price or model number and also in order to run it at 2 ohm will I just need to connect both subs to the amp in parallel or series?

There are actually 2 inputs on this amp for easy wiring. (these are internally joined).
You could wire one sub to one set of inputs, and the other sub to the other set of inputs.
