Hey guys,

I completed my agents rep course june last year, with decent marks smile.gif
Due to circumstances out of my control I have been forced to work a crapkicker job until now, but it is now time to get things rolling.

I have been offered a job by a family friend who is marketing manager of a local agency and would like to know how I can best prepare for the job, as he didnt go into specifics.
So far I have re-read over by course books and legislation extracts and typed up some notes. Section 32s, condition reports, marketing plans & stratagies, sale authorites etc.

Anyone who knows care to shed some light on how I can give my %100 to this job?

Thanks.

prices certainly aren't rising that much in Sydney!

and i hear when you first start, you work alot of weekends, doing the crappy open houses and stuff.

good luck mate smile.gif

Yeah I was under the impression (on this side of the country at least) that real estate was on the way down in a big way. Sydney mainly at the moment, but Melb is predicted to soon follow. Not that its a bad thing!

Most budding estate agents i know start out as porperty managers for a few years, to build up a rapport with some property owners. Once the network has been created then they progress to sales. It is generally a bit harder for a younger agent, as the people they know are not necessarily looking to buy homes.
