Hi guys i need help deciding

I have a Kicker 2006 L712 and i love the look of it and ive read they pump.

I havnt used it yet its still in the box and i was wondering what your thoughts on the IDMAX 12 are compared to the Kicker?

How much are the IDMAX appx?

Any other subs worth considering?

Im mainly into dance and rnb.

Any help would be great.

Thanks smile.gif

i ahvent tried the kicker, so this is biased, but the idmax, are awesome...

expect to pay 850 retail for the 12",a nd i think the 10 as well. available D4 or D2, well worth the money.... im running one D4.12" off a response mono, and it still cranks out the bass like no end... strong, body numbing bass... they take a week to "break-in" and copme with a warning not to feed them max power tilla fter that...

but if i had the choice, id definately go with another idmax...

i have heard both and most will say the id but still one of the best subs i have heard was a kicker l7 12in in a slot port.
the thing hammered and was just so tight and punchy and very musical.
the next best i have heard was 2 boston pro 12.5lf's in a CAASQ competitors car last year.. soo sweet!

and well the idmax is pretty good it just dosent do it for me unfortunaly, dont take it a bad way, it's still and awesome sub but it's just not for me.
